Cut out animation.

Cutout animation is a technique for producing animation using flat characters, props and backgrounds cut from materials such as paper, card, stiff fabric or even photographs. cutout-style animation is frequently produced using computers, with scanned images or vector graphics taking the place of physically cut materials.

The TV series South Park is a notable example, first episodes were made with actual paper cutouts, now South Park is made with Maya and Coral Draw.

I liked this technique and preferred it to 'object animation' this is because i was able to create something humorous which, i found, reflects my personality at best.
