Object Animation.

Object animation is a form of stop motion animation that involves the animated movements of objects such as toys, blocks, chairs, etc. they should not be impressionable and designed not to look like a recognizable human or animal character.

Good examples of object animation can be found in the film 'Robot Chicken', 'Adult Swim' and pop culture.

The process is very similar to other stop motion animation; A single frame is take, then the object is moved slightly and another frame is taken, this is done over and over again then all the single frames are put together. This is usually done on a computer, which generates the whole process and has the outcome of object animation.
